If you've ever been unfortunate enough to fall victim to domestic violence, you know that speaking out is difficult. Almost everyone victim blames and asks why you stayed, why you never called the police, and so on... If leaving were that easy, we all would have taken the opportunity the first time it happened.
One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. Most cases go unreported - typically out of fear that the abuser will retaliate against the victim.
It's time to put an end to that. End the silence by listing all reported abusers in the Abuser Directory.
My goal is to provide support for victims of domestic violence who have kept their voices quiet for too long. By encouraging community support for victims, we can ALL help end domestic violence.
If you stumbled upon the website looking for your intimate partner - please take that as a sign, whether they’ve been published or not. Always listen to your gut.

Don't ask. If you ask, you will be added to the Wall of Shame.
Your identity is completely protected and will not be disclosed to anyone without a court order. However, your correct contact information is needed in the event that your abuser requests removal. When this happens, you will be notified and be given the option to remove or edit the post to protect your identity. If we don't have your information, there's no way to tell you that a dangerous person is pissed that the mask fell off.
This site was created by a survivor of domestic violence with the goal of saving the next girl. Do not take advantage of it. Emotional abuse is serious and should never be downplayed. There is a difference between someone being abusive and being a jerk. If you submit a post that just says "he's mean and cheated on me", it will not be published.
This is meant to give victims the opportunity to use their voice after being silenced, NOT to get revenge. If you want to be the petty ex, this is not the place.
Donations are neither expected nor required, but extremely appreciated. Anything received will go towards the costs incurred in operating this website, which is currently funded by a PLUS loan.
All excess funds will be donated to Denton County Friends of the Family Shelter in Denton County, Texas.
